Liquid Two-Page Gyroscope

Design Inspiration

Form

Bi-Leaf follows the same curvature principles as Tri-Leaf, yet takes a far more daring path.

Tri-Leaf is about conspiracy and continuity — its blades chase and embrace one another in rotation, forming a stable visual field defined by flow and extension.

Bi-Leaf, by contrast, is about confrontation.

It elevates two elements into absolute pillars within space. A vast void splits the visual focus into opposing poles, creating tension through separation. By maximizing negative space, Bi-Leaf emphasizes the value of connection itself.

Rhythm & Contour

The side edges of Bi-Leaf carry a new meaning.

The two parallel ridgelines are no longer gentle transitions, but calm and decisive boundaries — a statement that higher continuity can emerge through interruption. Precision replaces softness, restraint replaces flow.

CMF · Craft, Material, Finish

Despite its reduced form, Bi-Leaf does not reduce complexity.

Along the single arc that bridges both extremes, polishing is given an extended journey, clearly tracing the path of force and motion. On the outer surfaces, sandblasting introduces weight and composure, enclosing sharp brilliance within a stable, grounded shell.

We insist on this dual-process approach because Bi-Leaf’s nearly exposed geometry leaves no room for imperfection.

Only through this deliberate opposition of finishes does the object transcend the traces of manufacturing — becoming pure form, presence, and intent.
