OWL is engineered to maximize internal space within a compact form, weighing approximately 135 grams. Despite its small size, it integrates multiple popular interaction systems, including mechanical direct push, magnetic coin interaction, and a magnetic rotor mechanism. The design also incorporates MOT’s signature magnetic levitation system, originally introduced in the Xuantian Gourd series.

In addition to the standard magnetic levitation mode, OWL features an upgraded semi–magnetic levitation mode, activated via a control switch. This mode delivers stronger tactile feedback and a more intense, engaging response. A dedicated trigger module further enhances interactivity by linking trigger actuation with magnetic lift-off, providing dual-stage feedback in a single motion.

DIY Options

OWL maintains MOT’s signature focus on extensive DIY customization. Users can freely replace the owl-shaped “eyes” to suit personal preferences. A pair of steel balls is included by default, while zirconia beads can be purchased separately. The rear plate features a large open area designed for user customization, allowing materials such as mother-of-pearl to be added for enhanced texture, personalization, and visual depth.
