SHI LAI YUN ZHUAN

Design Theme – “Fortune in Motion”

The design theme of this 01 inlay is inspired by the idea of “fortune set in motion.”

It features the image of the Pixiu, a legendary auspicious creature in Chinese culture known for attracting wealth and prosperity.

According to folklore, Pixiu feeds on gold and silver treasures — and never lets them escape. Because of this symbolism, people often say:

  • First touch brings rising luck
  • Second touch brings flowing wealth
  • Third touch brings a smooth and successful path

In traditional Feng Shui, Pixiu is believed to ward off misfortune and transform negative energy into blessings. Beyond attracting wealth, it is also associated with protection, harmony, and good relationships.

There is an old saying in China:

“With a Pixiu at home, all worries fade away.”

This design blends cultural symbolism with mechanical play, turning a daily EDC piece into a charm of positivity and good fortune.

Rare Titanium Damascus Material

Crafted from Titanium Damascus, the inlay features naturally formed, one-of-a-kind layered patterns. The material is:

  • Lightweight
  • Sweat-resistant
  • Corrosion-resistant

A hand-polished and heat-coloring process enhances both the tactile smoothness and the long-lasting luster of the surface.

After repeated polishing, the finish becomes exceptionally fine and silky. With long-term handling, the surface gradually develops a unique patina, giving the metal a warmer, richer glow over time.

These natural aging marks make each piece not only a functional component, but also a collectible object that records the passage of play and time.
