Feng Ling

Manufacturing & Finish Notes

Due to the manufacturing process, slight machining marks may be visible on the internal structure of the Fengling model. Minor polishing lines may also be present on polished areas. These details are within normal quality control standards and do not affect functionality, durability, or overall performance.

Internal Structure Upgrade

The Fengling model uses a custom-designed conical spring inside the mechanism. This is an intentional structural design and not the result of the spring being overstretched. The custom spring significantly improves smoothness, stability, and consistency during use, delivering a more refined tactile experience.

Weight Information

The stainless steel version of the Fengling weighs approximately 68 grams.

Modular Track Plate System

The Fengling push plate features a replaceable track plate design. Multiple track plate styles with different movement characteristics have already been developed. These optional track plates will be released in future scheduled drops, allowing users to customize and upgrade their playing experience over time.

Zirconium Material

In terms of structural design, the new Feng Ling continues the optimized design language of the earlier Zirconium Wind Spirit prototype, while introducing two targeted upgrades that balance practicality and aesthetics.

Compared to the first-generation Feng Ling, we have added a hidden lanyard-hole accessory. Cleverly concealed beneath the cover plate and seamlessly integrated with the main body, it preserves the clean visual appearance while also meeting everyday carry needs.

In addition, we specially designed a mid-layer overlay inlay made from textured brass with a circular-pattern finish. The material’s vintage character and refined texture soften the understated all-black appearance, adding a sense of luxury and elevating the overall premium feel while maintaining a clean and sharp aesthetic.

We have also prepared a small silencer pad accessory for users who prefer a quieter experience. Once installed onto the track plate, it effectively eliminates the signature “ding” sound.

For the exterior design, to give Feng Ling a distinctive tactile identity, we applied a three-dimensional diamond-pattern embossing across both the main body and the inlays. The design draws inspiration from the classic stitching craftsmanship found in high-end leather goods. Through precisely sculpted diamond textures, the metal surface recreates the layered feel of leather stitching, giving the material a refined, leather-like character.

Taking advantage of zirconium alloy’s naturally warm and skin-friendly properties, the subtly curved embossed edges soften the usual coldness of metal while creating a uniquely satisfying tactile response. As your fingertips glide across the textured surface, you can feel both the dimensional grain of the embossing and the smooth warmth of the zirconium alloy. Combined with Wind Spirit’s harmonic sliding track, every push delivers a synchronized sensory experience of touch and sound, creating an unprecedented sense of immersion and resonance.
